Boilerplate
Headline: Run Window gives committed runners the single best hour to run today — a verdict, not a forecast.
Every habitual runner knows the pre-run ritual: open one weather app, then another, then a third, and try to turn temperature, humidity, dew point, and wind into a single decision about when to head out. Run Window replaces that ritual with one answer.
Run Window reads your local hourly conditions and surfaces the best hour to run today, tuned to your own comfort zone rather than a generic notion of “good running weather.” A short setup and ongoing feedback teach it your tolerances. Save a planned run and it watches the forecast for you, speaking up only when something changes. When there is no good hour, it says so.
Run Window is built and run by a single founder, data scientist Patrick Hayes, and is available on the App Store and Google Play.
What makes it different
One answer, not a forecast
Run Window reads your local hourly conditions and surfaces a single best hour to run — a verdict, not a chart to interpret.
Tuned to your comfort zone
A 60-second setup, plus feedback after your runs, tunes the verdict to your own tolerances for heat, humidity, and wind — not a generic “good running weather” rule.
Watches your planned runs
Save a window and Run Window keeps an eye on the forecast, telling you only if something shifts — so you stop refreshing three weather apps before every run.
Honest when it’s bad
When there is no good hour, Run Window says so. No false promise of a perfect window that isn’t there.

Founder
Patrick Hayes is a data scientist and the solo founder of Run Window. He is an everyday outdoor runner — not an elite — who got tired of cross-referencing three weather apps before every run and built the tool he wanted: one that gives a single, honest answer about when to go.
He designs, builds, and operates Run Window himself, from the comfort model to the marketing site. He is available for interviews, guest essays, and commentary on running, weather, and the decisions runners make every day.
