Run Window ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Titan Tribute LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and display name through Firebase Authentication. You may also sign in with Google or Apple.
- Location Data: We collect your location coordinates to provide weather-based running recommendations. You can save multiple locations (home, work, etc.).
- Preferences: We collect your running preferences, including temperature comfort ranges, weather sensitivities, preferred run times, and your runner profile type.
- Run Feedback: When you log feedback about your runs, we collect your feeling score, run duration, notes, and the weather conditions at the time.
- Planned Runs: We store information about runs you schedule through the app.
Information from Device Features
- Health Data: With your permission, we read workout data from Apple Health or Google Fit to understand your running patterns. We do not write to or modify your health data.
- Calendar Data: With your permission, we read your calendar to suggest running times that fit your schedule. We do not create, modify, or delete calendar events.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: We collect device tokens for push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging.
- Usage Data: We track your daily refresh count for rate limiting purposes on the free tier.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide personalized weather-based running recommendations
- Learn your preferences over time to improve recommendations
- Send you push notifications about optimal running conditions
- Process your subscription and manage your account
- Improve and optimize our Service
Data Storage
Your data is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain servers that store your personal preferences, run history, or feedback. This data remains on your device and is not synced to cloud storage operated by us.
The exceptions are:
- Account data: Stored securely by Firebase Authentication (Google)
- Subscription data: Managed by RevenueCat for payment processing

Firebase (Google)

RevenueCat

Data Retention
- Local Data: Stored on your device until you delete the app or clear app data
- Run Feedback: We retain your last 100 feedback entries locally
- Account Data: Retained by Firebase until you delete your account
- Subscription Data: Retained by RevenueCat per their data retention policies
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: View all data stored locally in the app through Settings
- Delete: Delete your local data by uninstalling the app or clearing app data
- Account Deletion: Request deletion of your Firebase account by contacting us
- Opt Out: Disable notifications, health integration, or calendar integration at any time in Settings
For European Users (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Legal Basis: We process your data based on your consent (for health and calendar data) and legitimate interests (for providing the Service)
- Data Portability: You may request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format
- Right to Object: You may object to certain processing of your data
- Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw consent at any time by adjusting app permissions

Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:
- Local data is stored using your device's secure storage mechanisms
- All network communications use HTTPS encryption
- We do not store sensitive credentials on our servers
Children's Privacy
Run Window is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
